5th Asian Conference on Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering

The 5th Asian Conference of Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering organized by Chinese Heat Treatment Society and IFHTSE which took place in Hangzhou, China gathered about 130 experts in the field. After the opening by the President of CHTS, Prof. Yu Zhou, and a welcome from IFHTSE Secretary General, Mr. Stefan Hock, the first keynote lecture was given by Vice President IFHTSE Dr. Scott Mackenzie. Followed by this, eight plenary lectures were delivered by experts. The rest of the conference had two parallel sessions with majority speakers from Asia followed by western part of the world. It was nice to see a large number of young authors presenting their work in an excellent manner.

ASM International, Chennai Chapter hosted the 2nd Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering 2016 (HT&SE 2016) with concurrent Automotive Materials and Manufacturing Conference and Expo 2016, at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India during May 12 – 14, 2016.

HT&SE 2016 hosted 500+ delegates from India and Abroad. More than 100+ high quality technical papers and 60+ exhibitors were presented at the conference. Over 3000+ business visitors were at the conference and expo.
